Code Breaker Literacy Fun
Here’s a fab way to make learning numbers and letters fun whilst throwing some problem solving and teamwork into the mix… The codebreaker mission!
I used an old blind as the canvas for our code.
And then wrote some code clues using a permanent marker pen for the kids to crack. We had a set of eight clues which each led to a different location in the garden where the next clue was hidden.
They worked together to crack the code.
They solved all eight clues which led them to their reward hanging in a tree!
It was a really easy activity but a great process to help with their learning. And they were super chuffed with the reward at the end. They went on to spend loads of time making their own codes.
