Wheat Fields
We finally left the house with Arabella in tow after almost a week of being grounded due to the lurgy washing over us…
It wasn’t a blue skied day but that did not stop it from being beautiful….really really beautiful.
We went for a walk through some lanes locally and picked up some rubbish from the roadside bushes as part of our #TenMinuteDifference #FamilyDaysCleanUp summer litter pick but our main intention was to find a wheat field to walk through… and we found one.
There were lots of stiles with public pathways through the fields but we did stop a farmer who was trundling past on his tractor to ask if it was okay to walk through, he said it was fine and asked us to stick to the pathways that were evident in the field so we spent a few hours playing, running, hiding and enjoying everything simplistic that comes from running through a field…
Here’s how it looked…
Noah spent lots of time inspecting the wheat…
Mila was the first to spot the feathers that were lying around and our walk quickly turned into a feather hunt…
And a game of hide and seek too…
Some were better than others at hiding ????
and some just took it easy…
Ms A seemed happy enough just to tag along…
For something so simple it was actually a very nice walk indeed…
As far as walks go it was worth the effort, no expense was forked out but the memories are priceless.
And we headed home with those memories in tow…
Hello,
Great Trip,
May I ask where is it located?
Thank you
This a random field in Monmouthshire, the wheat has now gone.
