A while ago I witnessed some people mindlessly throwing litter from their car and I was appalled. 😢 And it played on my mind, so I wanted to try and reiterate with the children that dropping litter is not right.
We love the outdoors and in particular the forest and are extremely lucky to have the Forest Of Dean right on our doorstep to explore… so when we were asked if we would like to take part in the #LoveYourForest campaign to highlight the importance of litter free picnicking we couldn’t say no…
We decided to have our own bush tucker trials with tuna filled witchety grubs, meal worms, jungle ants, wallaby willies, fish eyes & kangaroo balls all washed down with a cockroach shakes & piranha shakes. We huddle around a yummy chocolate jungle campfire and embarked on some disgusting bug challenges. At the end we crowned our king of the jungle….
We set out to the forest to unearth our time capsules that were buried 4 years ago. We took a pop up tent, flask of soup and some crusty bread.
