Last week we were asked by Ocado if we would like to try out their new Ciao Gusto Italian range and we jumped at the chance! It was the perfect opportunity to get the kids together in the kitchen for some kitchen fun and together we cooked up a fabulous Friday night Italian feast.
We decided to have our own bush tucker trials with tuna filled witchety grubs, meal worms, jungle ants, wallaby willies, fish eyes & kangaroo balls all washed down with a cockroach shakes & piranha shakes. We huddle around a yummy chocolate jungle campfire and embarked on some disgusting bug challenges. At the end we crowned our king of the jungle….

Here’s a fabulous way to celebrate the end of the school term on the last morning!! Make a sumptuous end of term breakfast to celebrate the start of the holidays… I used some chalk pens* to write onto black card and bought some goodies.
Today we made some garlic bread using foraged wild garlic… and it was delicious!
