Snow Fun Indoors & Out
13 January, 2017
Embrace the snow with some activities to keep the kids busy both inside and out!
Bring in a tray of snow for the smallest members of the family to explore.
Or to try your hand at snow sculpting.
Head out with some pots of water mixed with food colouring to do some snow painting.
Make your snowman blush by filling a spray bottle with water and a few drops of food colouring.
Avoid snowballs in the ears by making some paper targets to peg on the washing line.
Try freezing some bubbles!
Or make some beautiful ice lanterns.
Or some colourful icy bird feeders.
And if it all gets a bit cold how about heading indoors with some snowmen in jars to have a thawing experiment? Place them in different places to see where they thaw fastest.
You could make an igloo with sugar cubes.
And if it all gets a bit much then snuggle down in your own under table snow den.

With some simple snowman cups filled with ice-cream or hot chocolate.
