Sensory Cupboard

Sensory play is really important play for small children and getting hands on to explore things is something they love…With this in mind we made a really easy sensory cupboard for ms A, 15 months to explore. And the best thing is that it packs away neatly for storage.
Here’s what we filled our ziplock backs with:
washing up liquid
stars
various coloured paint
cotton wool balls
tin foil
leaves
cereal
hand cream
straws
jelly
flour
sand
spaghetti
We simply filled the bags and squeezed out excess air before sealing.
We then used packing tape to attach the bags to our cardboard box.
And then we let Ms A get hands on and feet on to explore.

This is such a fantastic idea for sensory play without having to have it out all the time. I think i might try this at my nursery. Love this x
