As you watch the ISS pass overhead, you can spread a little Christmas magic and tell the kids it’s Santa in his sleigh practising for Christmas Eve.
✨A little bit of magic goes a long way with young children. You never know, seeing the magic of Santa’s sleigh (the ISS passing overhead) could inspire and encourage their imagination to believe in the magic of Christmas! This has become very popular and one of the most favourite magical Christmas traditions with our followers over the years with thousands reporting back the delight it has given to their Christmas festivities.
Or you could tell them it’s the International Space Station and leave them in awe and inspiration to become a future astronaut. But most of all it’s fun…
COOL FACTS
The ISS is the largest space station/laboratory ever built. It can be spotted with the naked eye at certain times as it orbits Earth at 17500mph at an altitude of roughly 200 miles.
