Making Christmas Jumpers with Toddlers

Making Christmas Jumpers with Toddlers

Who doesn’t love a Christmas Jumper? Here’s a fabulous way to get the toddlers to design their own with a really simple, cheap and effective idea…

Here’s what you will need:

  • Old magazines
  • Masking tape
  • Scissors
  • Tinsel and tree decorations are optional

I used masking tape to make a Christmas Jumper shape on the kitchen floor. You could try alternatives: a Christmas tree, snowmen, or even a window shape.

I then used some old magazines to cut out our bauble shapes. We were limited by time but you could get the little ones to cut these out.

I then just set them out on the floor and let Boo crack on with decorating her jumper.

It really was such an easy setup and relatively mess-free. She had loads of fun just doing her own thing. A Christmas tree fashion designer in the making.

Do take a peek at the Christmas PJ’s we made too.
