Make A Face Emotions Mood Board
I made an easy mood board for Boo, 3, to explore her understanding of emotions and to have some fun arranging.
I cut some eyes and mouths out of paper. We had features to make happy faces, surprised, confused and frustrated faces. I kept it simple for her without adding too many emotions as we wouldn’t want an emotional overload.
I then put a whiteboard on the floor and let her explore by changing the faces.
She had fun choosing expressions.
And she had more fun creating her own expressions.
It was a really easy activity with the minimum set-up that kept her entertained on and off throughout the day.
