I made an easy mood board for Boo, 3, to explore her understanding of emotions and to have some fun arranging..
I cut some eyes and mouths out of paper, we had features to make happy faces, suprised, confused and frustrated faces. I kept it simple for her without adding too many emotions as we wouldn’t want an emotional overload 🙂
I then lay a white board on the floor and let her explore with changing the faces.
She had fun choosing her own expressions…
And she had more fun creating her own expressions…
It was a really easy activity with minimum set up that kept her entertained on and off throughout the day.
