Elftopia at Bluestone

A few weeks ago we were invited to Bluestone to take a magical journey to Elftopia with the children to try out one of their fabulous Christmas breaks and we were not disappointed…
We’re no strangers to Bluestone and like to visit each year during the winter months but this visit we got to go on a magical adventure to Elftopia.
We stayed during a mid-week break with the intention of visiting Santa and the children were ridiculously excited! (As were the adults!)
And it certainly lived up to our expectations and was all kinds of magical.
The children were kitted up in preparation to take a magical sleigh ride to Elftopia with a bucket load of imagination and make believe in tow…each child was dressed for the occasion in elf flight suits and given rosey cheeks…
Their passports were officially stamped and they boarded with delight..
and with a briefing by elf and safety we were off…
Once we arrived at Elftopia we were greeted by all sorts of festive magic…
There were fun and games galore for the children with some interactive competitions between the adults and kids….it really was a fun house…
Take a peek at our visit to Kingdom of the Elves from last year! Bluestone certainly knows how to capture the magic of Christmas.
The highlight of our magical hour long journey to Elftopia was a meet and greet with the Snow Queen where we had a giant snowball fight!!
Also not to be missed was the Jack Frost disco in the dark at The Blue Lagoon… the pool was transformed into a winter wonderland, with music, snow balls alongside the usual wave machine and slide. This is possible the childrens most favourite part of our visit and we always end the holiday looking a little water shrivelled...
We have stayed at Bluestone many times in previous years and always found it wonderful. Please check out one of our previous posts to see more of the facilities that Bluestone have to offer.
Last year we had fun Den building in our Lodge.
And we loved the amazing Views from Bluestone.
It’s always a treat to see the Wildlife around the Bluestone Lake.

Disclosure: As a real treat, Bluestone invited us as guests but this is an honest review and we are planning to return January having taken advantage of one of the fabulous offers they currently have. As a family, we couldn’t recommend somewhere we wouldn’t go ourselves.
BLUESTONE ROCKS!
