Easy Festive Sensory Bags

We love a simple play and craft idea and Christmas is the ideal time for some festive fun with the preschoolers…I decided that I wanted to do an easy set up Christmas activity for the children so chose a hands on sensory play idea which I new they would enjoy, we’ve had fun with a similar Christmas jumper activity before so I knew this would keep them amused, and better still it was mess free! This was a spin on the window sensory bags which they had very much enjoyed too.

Here’s what you need

Clear Polly Pocket pouches

Strong tape

Clear hair gel or shower gel

festive sparkles

A4 paper First I drew our pictures and put them into the pouches…I then 1/4 filled a pouch with our clear shower gel…Take a peek at our other CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES

Next I added our festive themed sparkles…I used some strong tape to seal up the edges if the bag, you could used tape to secure it to a window or tray for play. And thats it, a simple but effective activity for the children which took less than 15 minutes to set up!!The children had lots of fun using their fingers to decorate the Christmas tree and presents by sliding the sparkles around, you could also make a Christmas Jumper! This would be a fab idea for your Christmas Elf to leave!
