Easter Crockpot Hot Chocolate Station

Who doesn’t love a hot chocolate! We most certainly do in our house and it’s an ideal treat to enjoy both indoors or outdoors in a flask on a picnic. And a themed hot chocolate station in the slow cooker is ideal as a centrepiece for any kind of celebration. We decided to make a spring themed one to enjoy during the Easter holidays.

I started off by collecting a few bits to scene set, an Easter bonnet the children had made, a bunny, some yummy chocolate goodies and some paper straws. I then made a sign to put up on the wall. Easter Crockpot Hot Chocolate Station

I didn’t use any kind of complex recipe and instead opted to simply use a regular instant hot chocolate mix.

I cooked it up in a pan before pouring it into our pre-warmed slow cooked. I then set the slow cooker onto a ‘warm’ setting to keep it warm.
