Ciao Gusto Italian Hamper Challenge

Last week we were asked by Ocado if we would like to try out their new Ciao Gusto Italian range and we jumped at the chance!

It was the perfect opportunity to get the kids together in the kitchen for some kitchen fun and together  we cooked up a fabulous Friday night Italian feast.

(All the items in our basket are available at Ocado and there’s a great home delivery service)

We were given an allowance of £50 to purchase from their range and we chose all kinds of delights.

An Italian meal is a fabulous idea to get the kids involved in cooking and also a great idea to have a Themed Day to learn about other countries and cultures. Yummy food is always a winner.

The kids got to grips with cooking up a storm.

Meatballs and garlic bread.

YUMMY

We feasted on some appetisers to keep us going in the kitchen.

Made with mozzarella, tomatoes & salami.

Our main course was linguine served with meatballs in an authentic pasta sauce.

Macaroni and garlic cheese bake.

Topped with mushrooms.

And we had the most delicious melted cheese pot!

We really did eat like kings until we couldn’t eat anymore and have oodles left to do another feast all over again!

You can find loads of fabulous recipes on the Ocado site too.

**We were provided with a gift voucher to buy products with to enable us to put together our own Ciao Gusto product hamper for the purpose of this post.
