Christmas Eve PJs

IMG_9317.JPGWe made our own Christmas Eve jarmie tops using a packet of (felty type) dishcloths from Poundland and some white t-shirts. We cut out our designs and glued them to the t-shirts using all purpose glue suitable for fabric.

We finished with googly eyes and some fur from an old teddy for Santa’s beard. You could use felt from a craft shop and fabric glue but this works just as well and was super cheap 🙂

See more of our Magical Christmas Traditions and Fun!

(Not sure how they will fair in the wash but for under a £5 for all materials for all 3 it doesn’t really matter because they were completely made with love).

Here’s how it went…

The kids loved their PJ and were proud of what they had made 🙂

Just because it’s so beautiful. 💐🌱💐 Just because it’s so beautiful. 💐🌱💐
Look how they shine, Look how they shine for you Look how they shine,
Look how they shine for you 💛
⭐️Tonight’s sky is filled with stars above the church.
💐🌱 The flowers are enjoying the moonlight too (I took a photo with my iPhone)
Rock n roll on a Friday night walking through a graveyard.
But it feels perfect 🙂
Today we came up with a lovely plan for the organ 🐭 (Don’t worry the organ is a treasure to us and the church so it will only involve restoration and complimenting)

Kitchen floor update...slowly but surely 🙂 Once Kitchen floor update...slowly but surely 🙂
Once set we can start on the pew wood seating booth, get the pipe work in and start building the kitchen.
The kitchen sink will sit below the window.
Where I’m standing will be a doorway that steps out of the living pod and into the kitchen.
We have chosen not to have any under flooring heating in the kitchen as we wanted to maintain the wonderful natural feel of the building, it’s a pretty ambient temperature so if needed a fan heater will do the job. The feel of the stone beneath your feet is very grounding. Hopefully it will make for many happy hours spent washing dishes.
