We headed to the beach with some pens to have some creative fun, we made some cool pictures with some pebbles.
We went for a walk at the beach and picked up a handful of small pebbles, when we got home we searched out an old picture frame & removed the glass. Not many words are needed for this post… The kids simply used marker pens to decorate empty milk cartons, filled them with water and placed them on top of strings of battery operated fairy lights. We headed to the beach as the sun went down. We reminded the children of the significance. We specifically remembered Johnny.
Autism is something that never really touched my life, I knew nothing of its effects on people lives, I couldn’t comment on the subject and I was always blind to how common it actually is and the enormously wide scale in which it graces people’s lives. We headed to Rhossili beach with a rake & had lots of fun making dinosaur footprints, once finished we climbed back up the cliff in time to see the markings of our prehistoric beast on the shore before the tide washed over it! It was very effective and fun 🙂
