Life Through A Lens – Sunrise

17 Apr

This morning me, my mum, and my baby sister went out to watch the sun rise. I took my camera with me to take some photos of the sunrise. I liked the colours of the sky because they kept on changing and the way things looked against it. xX

Glimpses of Love

14 Apr

At almost 5 months old there seems to be an evident sibling bond already with her big brother…this is often shown in the squeeze of a nose, the pulling of hair or just the plain idolising stare from her as her eyes follow him across the room. She beams as he appears in her field of vision and her smile… View Post

Park Life

6 Apr

We went to the park today. The weather was sunny one minute and hailing the next but I enjoyed taking more photos and then editing them with my mum on her iPad. Have a look and let me know what you think.

A Note From Family Days

30 Mar

After the events of yesterday I wanted to write a post but I’m struggling to find the right words to portray my feelings, not like me I know but to be honest I don’t know what I can say. People moan about Facebook, it’s often a place for hardened opinions, opportunities to disagree and all too often a place of… View Post

Life Through A Lens – Textures

28 Mar

We went to Swansea beach front yesterday and i had a go at taking pictures of different textures and things that you would normally rush past without a thought.  My favourite photo was the bee climbing out of the Daffodil because the player was smooth and the bumble bee was furry. I hope you like them! Xx  I liked the cracks… View Post

Restoration realities... 🧡 Windowsil grubs, the Restoration realities...
🧡 Windowsil grubs, they just seem to be forever filthy and gather muck more indoors than out.
Everyday I remind myself that the dirt will wash away but the memories will remain forever 😬

He then made some fairy cakes and decorated them to make a centrepiece dessert 🌸🧁

It was really easy to do and highly effective, he was very proud of himself 🥰👏

☺️ Really pleased at how the kitchen ceiling i ☺️ Really pleased at how the kitchen ceiling is looking! It’s been a long process insulating between the beams and putting up lining papering and cleaning down and waxing the beams but our hard work is starting to pay off and it’s looking beautiful. So many people advised us to cover the beams up as an easy measure but for us that was never going to happen, keeping the church as original as possible is our highest priority, it’s a stunning building, why change that?
Our next job is to give the walls another coat of paint around the memorials we restored and hang the chandeliers central to the arches...then maybe we can think about building the kitchen 🙂
