What is there not to love about Autumn! With all the beautiful colours it’s the perfect time to head out to find natural resources to have fun with. Here are some of our favourite ideas…
I folded a piece of card in half and then used tape to make it into a circle to fit Noah’s head. He picked leaves up and popped them into the folded card as we walked to make his crown.

Take an old sheet into the forest/woods and find all kinds of autumnal loot to make a picture. We love Forest Art!

We made an autumn lantern simply by soaking leaves in PVA glue for half an hour to soften them and then sticking them to a jar. We then popped in a tealight.
Collect leaves and use an old sheet to make your own fabulous leaf art,
Use PVA glue to stick autumn leaves to the outside of the window. Perfect for the little ones to explore.

For our autumn necklace we took a large needle with thin string attached to thread through the leaves we collected.
AUTUMN PICTURE FRAME
We used a piece of cardboard (a cereal box) and cut out a hole for the picture and folded the card so it would stand up. We collected leaves, laminated them and stuck them to the cardboard. We finished by printing a picture that we stuck to the card frame.
We’ve plenty more nature play ideas and our beach activities are a great excuse to head to the seaside.
