How wonderful does our stained glass window look! We decided that we wanted to make a piece of art together as a family to hang in the garden. This was something that we made on the kitchen table and everyone took turns to dip in and out doing a little during the day.
Isn’t it true that we all want the same for our children? We all want them to thrive, to flourish, to sail through childhood and emerge into adulthood unscathed, intact and rounded into thoughtful caring and considerate people. And to get there they need the utter basics to be covered: food, sleep, hygiene, comfort and love.
A while ago I witnessed some people mindlessly throwing litter from their car and I was appalled. 😢 And it played on my mind, so I wanted to try and reiterate with the children that dropping litter is not right.
…and it feels pretty awesome. But what does that mean? To us it means, regardless of what happens next, we’re already winners just to get this far.
