Fill a basket with pebbles and leave a message on a large one encouraging others to write wedding day messages as a keepsake..

watering cans can be bought for a few pound, ideal for a summer birthday party to leave on the table with a pot of permanent markers for guests to write their messages on.

a photo of the moon or the sunrise on the day a baby is born is a lovely photo to post onto a new parents wall.
