????✨????We went on a bear hunt, I took a hoard of chocolate bears to hide, a potato stamper so I could make paw prints to track in the mud, & a bear story to read by the river. I made a sign to place on a tree at the start of our hunt.
Our walk was part of our exploration of the beautiful Wye Valley & took place at Lancaut & Ban-y-Gor wildlife reserve but you could recreate your own bear hunt anywhere. Our walk was unsuitable for buggies. More details of location can be found HERE

I hid the chocolate bears for the kids to find.

They loved stumbling over them.

I made some tracks with my potato for them to follow when they were not looking for them to follow.

We spotted some awesome birds flying along the river..

It really was a fabulous walk and with the aid of a few chocolate bears it made for a magical adventure that kept the kids enthused and intrigued 🙂
