I love photography and have been teaching myself for around a year with the help of my mum’s camera. I enjoy posting the results on Instagram and sharing with my friends and our followers on our family fun page. It always makes me happy.

Today when I got home from school there was a huge surprise waiting for me: my very own super awesome portable printer bundle. And this was something that was on my Christmas list so I was super excited to try it out.

We were asked if we would like to review the Sprocket portable printer by HP and I was given the job to do it!

The printer came in a cool bundle which included the printer, a wallet case, a photo album, adhesive printer paper and a voucher which lets you personalise your printer.

The printer also comes with a charging cable.

It’s really easy to load and the instructions were easy to follow. You just take the back off and put the printer paper in.

The printer is compatible with your smartphone and is super simple to use. Once you have your printer you download the free Sprocket app onto your phone you can print from anywhere as it uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone. It is really light and fits easily into your pocket.

The Bluetooth technology means that you can connect and print from your friends’ phones too so it would be brilliant to take to sleepovers or a birthday party and share some fun and instant moments with your friend.

You could have a journal making evening with your friends too.

I really liked the photo album which came in the bundle. It has a window at the front to display your favourite photos and the artwork on the album is the same as the artwork available in the ‘customise your photo’ option in the app so you can theme your photos when personalising them to fit with the theme of the album cover.

The first photo I choose to print out was from one of the sunrise photos I took in the summer, Life Through A Lens- Devon Sunrise.

And it printed out lovely.

Next I wanted to try some of the edit options and customise my photo so I choose a photo to make a birthday card for my sister.

There are lots of options to make your photos cool or pretty. I added a birthday frame but you also have the option to add artwork or text and you can add filters, crop, etc.

Once you have customised your photo, you select ‘print’ and in around 8 seconds you have your photo!

The best bit is that the photos are self-adhesive so you have the choice to stick them to things. I used my photo to stick onto a piece of card to make my birthday card.

I’m looking forward to being really creative with the printer and having fun with my friends. More printer paper is definitely going to be on my Christmas list!
