Glamping At Warren Farm

Glamping at Warren Farm

We love camping and we love exploring, whether that be wild camping, festival camping, wild camping in the mountains, the garden or even the living room. We like to get back to basics and slum it in a tent without a care in the world…

We are very basic campers and have never considered trying out glamping before so when we were invited to try out a weekend off the grid bell tent living at Warren Farm we decided to give it a go. Why not?

And we were pleasantly surprised at the difference it made to the whole camping experience.

Warren Farm is set within a rural location 5 minutes from the sea on the coast of Pembrokeshire, a stunningly beautiful location with ample naturally stunning locations close by to explore.

We were greeted and shown to our tent. Nestled in the trees in a secluded corner of the garden it was far from the usual ‘slumming it’ camping we’re used too.

Our extremely spacious self-catering bell tent was filled with everything we’d need for a weekend away. It was very exciting.

All we needed for cooking was supplied in a Welcome Pack basket.

We were supplied with two picnic baskets filled with plates, cups, cutlery etc.

The kids were made up to discover a swing big enough to share between two people and a huge trampoline to aid in their feralness and need to be running around outdoors.

Glamping at Warren Farm

Our glamping tent was a self-contained spot with everything you could need for self catering. We had a fair-sized kitchen area adjacent to our bell tent which included a good-sized gas cooking stove, sink and plenty of hot running water. It was all you need for a spot of al fresco living or late night hot chocolates or soup around the camp fire.

Adjacent to our kitchen was a small recycling area, a well-maintained and clean shower block and an eco-friendly toilet block.

As a large family we found it a lovely touch to have our own exclusive amenities to use.

**Make sure that any food is kept inside your tent as the local badgers are happy to visit during the night. This made for loads of giggles and excitement with the kids.

And it was a lovely touch to have a ‘Campfire Pack’ to use…complete with a fire bag to burn and marshmallows.
