We decided last night that we were going to get up before the sun rose and head for the hills in search of a gorgeous spot to have breakfast and watch the solar eclipse. So we threw some quilts into the car along with a bowl to fill…
My name is Eden, i am 10 years old and these are some photos that I took at Cardiff Bay. I edited them on the computer using the crop, straighten and shadow options. I then gave them a caption with an app which my mum has on her phone.
Kids love glow in the dark fun: building dark dens and playing with torches and light-up objects, experimenting with shadows and star gazing… So I’ve put together a great bunch of ideas for you to have your own ‘Darkness’ themed fun.

Oh em gee! Have only been following your fb page a few weeks but totally in love with the ideas, your ups and downs (which mirror most of us), the family love, the dysfunction, the pictures of where you are, just all of it. Just having a quick spree throuh the websites but i absolutely love these camping ideas and am so making notes for our first camp in easter (we took our 8 week old camping the last time easter was end of march… in the snow!). Well done mrs and mr, misses and masters FD!
Yay for camping in the snow!!!!
So glad you came over to see us here….xx
Love the camping idea’s as for easter I’m taking my boys camping.we where thinking ???? of doing a easter egg hunt. What would you recommend chocolate eggs or plastic (to be swoped for chocolate?) . We love your family fun keep up the good work ????
Chocolate is always a good choice as long as they are wrapped to avoid hungry slugs 🙂 Or you could try carrots like we did here on a rustic picnic and carrot hunt x
Awesome ideas thank you. Love the Lego station idea, will be packing that on our next camp! Fantastic website x
These are brilliant ideas. Thank you!
