Building a Bug Hotel

We decided that we wanted to make a creepy crawly bug hotel in the garden..

Here’s how we did it..

We started by making a sign for our door..

We found a spot in the garden underneath a garden bench, we decorated some pebbles for our hotel..

We found some cut logs and stacked them up..

We put grass, dead leaves, toilet roll tubes and old pots in amongst the logs for our hotel rooms..

We then searched for our bug guests..

With all creepy crawlies moved in we were just left to check it each day for bug activity…
